Breaking Down Your Personal Boundaries

In order to reverse “The Boundary Effect” phenomenon discussed in the article titled: “Personal Boundaries”, you must take specific steps to break the sympathetic resonance of your already established boundaries.

The way you do this is to adapt the mind set of having no internal barriers what so ever! That’s right…No Boundaries!

You begin this process by declaring yourself free of any boundaries.

Think of this as “cleaning house”. In order to reverse the “The Boundary Effect” you are going to have to take conscious control of the “autopilot” which up tail now has been reacting to situations which are perceived rather than real. It is time to “dial down” the sensitivity which triggers your reactions, by lowering the reaction threshold of your boundaries.

You must accept the responsibility for making conscious decisions!

It’s time for you to take control!

Of course you are not going to be able to simply “cast off” your boundaries by verbally declaring it to be so! What I am talking about here is a shift in your mind set. One which begins the process of breaking down the no longer relevant personal boundaries which have now become the barriers to your joy and fulfillment.

How your personal boundaries became your prison

“The Boundary Effect” creates phantom” boundaries. These are not the actual boundaries you established at some point in time. These are new phantom boundaries which are the sum of your separate real boundaries… and just like a phantom, these extend far from the source. In other words, you find yourself reacting to the possibility of something rather than the reality of that thing. Your life is ruled by the fear, uncertainty and doubt (FUD) created by unchecked phantom boundaries which may have nothing to do with the situation at hand.

The danger is that you assume an outcome and then react to that assumption. By having no boundaries, you will rapidly become aware of the “automatic” false triggering which has been affecting your day to day life.

You need to become aware of your automatic responses.

Observe how you react to situations which have not yet happened or may never happen. Consider the reality factor: What do you perceive as true, regarding a situation, versus what is actually true about a situation. Many of us tend to react with little or no real information in most situations. This is because we tend to not think and then react.

We tend to react first and then think later.

As you dissolve the effects of your old boundaries and the “boundary effect”, you will be able to establish new inner fences which will much more accurately reflect who you are now and what constitutes your “safe zone”.
